LRG launched their summer collection for 2010 in early April. In the past LRG has always developed a theme for each of their seasonal LRG clothing lines and each time they deliver new looks while incorporating their superior artistic style and creativity. The first series of their 2010 summer line consists of themes such as “Destination Nowhere”, “Homegrown”, “Artist Driven”, and “Uptown Top Rankin”, each theme maintaining its own stylistic vibe.

The “Destination Nowhere” theme is a rendition of classical nautical sportswear. This theme encompasses a laid back yacht club appeal while maintaining a classy, street-trendy style. As LRG is a “homegrown” company “Homegrown” was the natural selection for a theme to draw inspiration from for the 2010 summer line. LRG states that LRG is “a homegrown company cultivated from creativity, love, hard work, and, of course, home gardening and personal horticulture”. “Artist Driven” is the introduction of a guest artist co-op series that will grow throughout the year. “Artist Driven” features two of the most talented young graffiti artists in the world, one being Augor from Los Angeles and the other Pose from Chicago. These two artists are working in combination to create innovative new LRG designs.

Other summer looks in this summer line promote diversity, international flavor, lifestyle perspective and culture. “Up Town Top Rankin” is inspired by Jamaican styles in the summertime.

By reading the action is this picture, one might think LRG Clothing is Number 1 is expressed. The nonverbal statement is very much buried in this artwork.

This picture represents hard for the LRG Grass Roots Clothing collection. It screams basic instinct and style at the same time. What jungle were they at to shoot this? Who knows but it looks great.

Who knewLRG Clothing on the Beach looked so good? Waves crashing in the background, everything matches this LRG model, even the environment. Ill shot.
